Gouache Gerbera Daisies

I finally opened my Winsor and Newton Gouache paints I got for my birthday last July.  It is a medium I have never worked with before and after using them for this small painting I can't wait to use them again.  I liked the opaque quality of gouache (similar to oil) and the quick dry time (similar to watercolor).  Though colors do dry much darker than they first appear painted and that took me a while to adjust to.  I think next time I will try using watercolors and gouache in the same painting to get more depth.
