I love playing with color--especially mixing it and experimenting with how color can evoke different emotions and memories.  This is a collection of blue and green color studies starting with a structured composition followed by two studies with more organic compositions.

Terrariums

I haven't had a chance to paint this week, but looking through old scans I came across two terrarium watercolor and ink sketches from last year.  I'd love to do more botanical paintings in the future.

Starfish Painting

I think this will be my last ocean themed painting for a while.  It was fun to explore a new subject over the past few weeks :)   Starfish have amazing patterns, textures, and colors.
